What is the Southeastern Car Wash Association?

The Southeastern Car Wash Association (SECWA) is a nonprofit car wash trade association founded in 1957. Based in the Southeast, serving Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, and welcoming operators and vendors everywhere, we offer road shows, networking events, members-only Wash Talks, a jobs board and a vendor directory.

What is SECWA?

The Southeastern Car Wash Association, a nonprofit car wash trade association founded in 1957 for car wash operators and the vendors who serve them.

Which states does SECWA serve?

We’re based in the Southeast and serve Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Members from outside the region are welcome too.

Who can join?

Car wash operators (owners and their teams) and vendors or manufacturers serving the car wash industry. Join SECWA.

How much is membership?

Operator: $50 for 1 person, $75 for 2, $90 for 3, then +$5 per extra person. Vendor: $100, $130, $150, then +$10 per extra person. Yearly. See membership.

Do you welcome members outside the Southeast?

Yes. We’re rooted in the Southeast, but operators and vendors from anywhere are welcome to join, attend events and watch Wash Talks.

What is a SECWA road show?

A road show is usually a tour of local car washes, and sometimes vendor facilities, plus networking, in any order. Sometimes it’s networking the first night and a tour the next day, maybe capped off with a baseball game. Other times it’s Topgolf and networking on day one, then the tour before everyone heads home. It varies, but there’s always a tour of a few car washes.

Does membership renew automatically?

Yes. Memberships renew on your join anniversary through secure Stripe autopay, with email reminders 60 and 30 days before so you can review your people and card. You can turn off auto-renew anytime.
